Provides superior customer service to the public, pilots, and passengers that visit the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport as the first point of contact for Sheboygan County's Fixed Base Operator (FBO).
Delivers a personalized, friendly, and welcoming experience for general aviation traffic.
Full and Part Time Positions Available.
Essential Duties Assists customers with facilitating ground transportation, relocation of vehicles, accommodations, and provides directions.
Serves as initial contact in answering telephones, greeting the public, and furnishing information for inquiries received from users of the FBO and the general public.
Accurately and efficiently receives and processes transactions for fuel purchases and related fees in accordance with County policies and procedures.
Coordinate ancillary services between pilots, passengers, and Line Service Technicians.
Communicates information using aviation phonetic alphabet to clearly speak and hear numerical sequences over two-way radio system.
Provide weather information and other guidance to pilots as needed.
Accurately provides cashiering and point-of-sale (POS) machine management, develop invoices, receive payments, and perform daily fuel reconciliation as needed.
Monitors arriving and departing aircraft to ensure services and guidance are offered promptly.
Develops and updates marketing materials to advertise the FBO.
Maintains the FBO website and any associated websites, such as social media.
Possesses sufficient knowledge of the FBO's organization, policies, and personnel to make administrative decisions exercising independent judgement as expected by management.
Undertakes special projects and performs research as requested by management; participates in program evaluation and strategic planning.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent.
Associates degree in an administrative profession or business management is desirable.
Post high school courses related to required technical skills or related experience consisting of one year of public-facing customer service.
An aviation background is helpful.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
Ability to learn and understand FBO-related software as needed.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions carefully and accurately, and to work independently and reliably with limited direct supervision.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
An energetic and positive attitude when interfacing with users of the FBO, members of the public, local government officials, and colleagues.
A current, valid Wisconsin driver's license.
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements Reports directly to Business Manager, is indirectly supervised by Transportation Director, and has a close working relationship with Airport Superintendent.
Hasfrequent contact with airport tenants, general public, and other Countyemployees.
May interact with the Transportation Committee, Airport AdvisoryCommittee, other stakeholders and users of the Airport.
Work is performed in a standard office setting.
Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds, but must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Risk of blood borne pathogen exposure is considered low.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
