5 years100% on site10 plus years in PM experience (3-5 projects)Experience with end to end project completionExperience in chemical, biological, food, or PharmaPMP certification preferredAs a Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for capital projects of various sizes and complexity.
You will have full responsibility and accountability from identifying problems to implementing multi-discipline solutions.
This will involve working in a team setting with colleagues and stakeholders from across the organization.
Manage and Coordinate Capital projects of various sizes, complexities and budgets of up to $75MM from initiation up to closeout.
Manage design firms on projects up to $4MM in fees.
Manage and coordinate construction projects of up to 75 tradesmenSolve complex or novel problems by analyzing data, gathering input, and observing operationsManage internal stakeholders and report to management with full transparency on project status with respect to safety, budget, schedule, scope, and risksProcure necessary consultants, contractors, equipment, and materials to support capital projectsPlan, schedule timelines, monitor and follow up on Capital projects ensuring safely and timely completion and within total documentary compliance.
Secure required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changesManages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costsMaintain project files on shared resources such as network drives and SharePoint real time.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely start-up and commissioning aligning with production and maintenance teams.
Engage proactively with the team to establish concepts of lean and value added overall project management process.
Responsible for planning of project design, construction, commissioning and related resources to provide a safe, complete and functional facilitiesDevelop and implement engineering solutions to internal customer requests and opportunities.
Provide technical support for other departments in the form of system design, training or process improvement.
Perform duties at an elevated degree of professionalism, independence and sense of ownershipAccountable for projects within a clearly defined scope and milestones.
Receives moderate to low level of guidance and direction within clear or even broad guidelines.
EducationBS degree in Engineering required.
Chemical or Mechanical degree preferred.
MS degree in Engineering desirable.
Project Management Professional Certification (PMI PMP) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
Work ExperienceBS degree and 2-5 years of related work experienceMS degree and 0-3 years of related work experience.
Recommended Skills Biology Business Process Improvement Certified Project Management Professional Construction Maintenance Microsoft Share Point Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
